What Do I Do Once My Site is Done?

Done? You are never done. A good web site is one that is constantly changing. One that is being updated and constantly offering new information.

Why do I need to do this?
You have your site, people can find you, why do you need more? Ask yourself this question ~ once they find you, why would they come back? You want them to come back again and again. That way they remember you and refer you to others.

I need proof
Check out the news web sites, and the sports web sites. They are always updating their sites. And because they update their sites, people come back. If they never changed the information, people would come once ~ and that would be it.

So how often must I update?
At least 1-2 times per month. This is often enough to keep people interested and also to remember that your site has changed. When you go too long between updates, visitors will lose interest and fail to return.

Can I update the site myself?
Yes you can. But remember all that is entailed. You have to make the changes, make sure the changes are working and then resubmit. Depending on the amount of changes you have, it could be very time consuming. Cataluņa offers maintenance to all of our clients. We just beill for the time that we spend. The updates often include:

~ Text changes
~ Graphic changes
~ Link updates
~ New information
~ New articles
~ New newsreleases
~ Any other minor changes
